It is time for another H&M designer collaboration and it is looking to be the most exciting one yet! Erdem is the famed for their floral prints and classically feminine silhouettes, making them one of the go-to designers for celebrities and other A-Listers. Now they are headed to H&M with maybe the most exciting collection to date.
The H&M x Erdem collection have largely stayed true to their namesake perspective while keeping the collection fresh with a number of separates. Most interesting is the play between the masculine elements with mass-market appeal with the special, ultra-feminine details. Erdem said that this collection was a chance to reflect and create a narrative of his childhood. For example, how his mother would throw on his father’s coat over her delicate tea dress while on the school run.
This casual attitude to interesting garments and creating special moments in a collection is right up my street; not surprising that I have been stalking this collection for months! Here, with only a couple days before the release, I have created a quick day-to-day lookbook for inspiration. A way to visualise how some of the more extravagant or memorable places could be worn outside of Instagram.
Enjoy!
