‘Chips… And ass.’

Anyone who knows me will tell you how much I love chips. Fries, wedges, deep-fried, oven-baked; if it’s a cut up potato, I’ll love it. But, fast food is too greasy if eaten repeatedly, and oven chips are too expensive, considering the amount you get. So, to satisfy my chip-requirements, whilst being aware of my student lifestyle, I found that maki

ng your own chips is way better for you, as well as cheap and overall taaaasty!

Ingredients
– 1x potato per person / 1x sweet potato per person;
– Oil (whatever you have around, sunflower, olive, garlic etc);
– Salt and Pepper;

Method

– Cut up all the potatoes, in wedge like slices;
– Boil in hot water, until soft;
– Drain the pan, and put the potatoes on a pre-heated baking tray;
– Brush oil over the chips, and sprinkle salt and pepper.liberally;
– Cook in a preheated oven, for approx 20-25 mins/ until the chips are golden and crunchy looking;
– Remove from tray, present with some ketchup and enjoy! (:
